Oh thanks for this educative write-up. I never knew artificial intelligence has types, I was thinking it is just the general one we know. Well I have heard of machine learning too but I guess that's part of it. Recently I have been developing interest in artificial intelligence and everything about it. I want to gather as much information as possible and see which aspect I can go into.

What an interesting article, I knew most of them but not by their categorization name, for example Siri, Alexa, ChatGPT or even Google Lens that is capable of identifying objects from images and searching them on the web, I think that general or strong AI It is the one that will be developed the most in these coming years or in which there is more interest in developing, because it can be a great advance for human beings if it is widely developed.

Reinforcement Learning (RL) is the science of decision making. It is about learning the optimal behavior in an environment to obtain maximum reward. This optimal behavior is learned through interactions with the environment and observations of how it responds, similar to children exploring the world around them and learning the actions that help them achieve a goal.

In the absence of a supervisor, the learner must independently discover the sequence of actions that maximize the reward. This discovery process is akin to a trial-and-error search. The quality of actions is measured by not just the immediate reward they return, but also the delayed reward they might fetch. As it can learn the actions that result in eventual success in an unseen environment without the help of a supervisor, reinforcement learning is a very powerful algorithm.

These are types of Artificial intelligence

1) Artificial General intelligence: AI designed to learn,think and perform at similar level to Human.

2)Reactive Mechine:AI capable of responding to external stimuli in real time,but unable to build memory or store information.

3)Artificial Narrow Intelligence:AI designed to complete very specific action but unable to learn on it own.

4) Artificial Superinterlligence:AI designed with the capacity to surpass Human knowledge.

5)Limited Memory:AI it can store and use knowledge to learn.

6)Self--aware AI can recognize others emotion with a sense of humor intelligence.

7)Theory of Mind:AI that can sense and perform human task.

AI is fast replace human in almost area were human are traditional use.

This is really educative. I never thought that there are different types of artificial intelligence. I do always group all of them in the same category prior reading up this article that is well compiled.

But I want to believe that all Artificial Intelligence can only operate within their areaa of expertise. For instance, there are some times that the chatGPT for instance will not really get answers to some things that you ask it.

1. Reactive machines: They are only able to react in a current situation, but do not learn from earlier experiences. They have no memory contained in them and do not use past history to influence future actions.

2. Limited Memory: Low AI is also capable of using past data for a short period of time to draw the conclusions relevant to its operations at that moment. It retains information only for a limited period and is commonly used in self-driving cars.
