In reality some ptc sites are ligit in the initial stage of the journey but alas ! When the going is tought, they turn to be scam and run away or still remain in pretense to continue scamming people. Reasons for the change, well as they collect advitisers money and promising users more than they afford, surely they could not stay on the business. I have been duped so many times by these new PTC sites and it is not a good experience, to waste so many hours only for them not to pay you. One in particular is https://buxmint.com/. The site started operating recently and they used to pay well, with minimum cash out being 2$ on PayPal. However as more people signed up, they kept delaying cashing out to the point they stopped paying completely, be on the lookout for that site.

PTC (Paid-to-Click) sites can turn into scams for various reasons, and it's important to be aware of these factors to avoid falling victim to fraudulent schemes. Here are some common reasons why PTC sites may turn out to be scams:

1. **Lack of Sustainability:**

   - Some PTC sites operate on unsustainable business models. They may promise high payouts to members without a viable source of revenue, leading to financial instability and eventually turning into scams.

2. **Ponzi Schemes:**

   - Scam PTC sites may operate as Ponzi schemes, using funds from new members to pay existing members. As the user base grows, it becomes challenging for the site to sustain payouts, resulting in a collapse.

3. **False Promises:**

   - Scam PTC sites often make unrealistic promises of high earnings with minimal effort. These promises are designed to lure individuals into joining and investing money.

4. **Non-Payment Issues:**

   - Legitimate PTC sites should pay members for their clicks and activities. Scam sites may delay or refuse payments, citing various reasons, ultimately leading to the loss of earnings for participants.

5. **Lack of Transparency:**

   - Scam PTC sites often lack transparency regarding their ownership, business model, and financial status. Legitimate sites typically provide clear information about their operations.

6. **Unrealistic Referral Programs:**

   - Some scam PTC sites offer referral programs with excessively high commissions. These programs are designed to attract new members and their investments, contributing to the sustainability issues.

7. **Fake Advertisers:**

   - Scam PTC sites may create fake advertisements or use automated bots to simulate user engagement. This deceptive practice gives the illusion of activity and revenue generation.

8. **Security Concerns:**

   - Scam PTC sites may compromise user security by mishandling personal information, leading to identity theft or unauthorized access to financial accounts.

9. **No Clear Revenue Source:**

   - Legitimate PTC sites generate revenue through advertising and partnerships. Scam sites may lack a genuine revenue source, relying solely on member investments to sustain payouts.

10. **Poor Communication:**

    - Scam PTC sites often have poor communication channels, avoiding inquiries from members or providing vague responses. Legitimate platforms typically maintain open and transparent communication with their user base.

To protect yourself from potential scams, it's essential to research PTC sites thoroughly before joining. Look for reviews, check their payment history, and be cautious of platforms making unrealistic promises. Always use unique passwords and avoid sharing sensitive information with unreliable sites. If a PTC site shows signs of turning into a scam, it's advisable to discontinue participation and report any issues to relevant authorities.

Most of the times they try to pay higher amount of earnings for their ads than other reputed websites , it takes much effort and money in promoting a website as well ,so that is why you need to make sure that you are indeed paying optimal amount as a website else you have no other option than to close your business , many websites try to be honest which is a good thing , but some websites are forced to leave business which is bad for them and the user as well of the websites actually .
